Cozy Memory Pairs

An AI game idea to try in Google Playground

WHAT IT CREATES

A cozy memory puzzle with six matching pairs.

PLAYER DOES

Flip two cards per turn and match all six pairs in as few turns as possible.

Original concept art shows intended gameplay, not a generated game screen.

Step 1 — Starting prompt

Open Playground

Copy this starting prompt, open Google Playground, paste it into a new game, and select Generate.

Create a simple single-player memory game with 12 face-down cards arranged in a grid. Use six pairs of clearly different original symbols and shuffle their positions when a new round starts. The player clicks two different unmatched cards per turn. Matching cards stay face up. Nonmatching cards stay visible briefly and then turn face down; ignore new card selections while this is happening. Count each completed pair selection as one turn. The game ends when all six pairs are matched. Show the turn count and a restart button. Do not add a timer, lives, hints, accounts, or online scores.

Untested prompt idea. The game described here is an intended result, not a verified Playground output.

Step 2 — Optional edits

For a game you've already created, copy one edit instruction and paste it into Playground's edit interface. Use one at a time.

Edit 1 — Garden symbols

Change only the six symbols to simple original garden objects. Keep the number of cards and all matching rules unchanged.

Edit 2 — Four matching pairs

Make the puzzle smaller by using four matching pairs instead of six. Update the grid and completion condition; keep all other rules unchanged.
